Calling all Deck Maintenance Contractors!
In 2008, Deckshield started the "Professional Deck Care Network". We have since gotten away from this concept but are in the process of giving it another try.
The "Network" is comprised of competant, trained, licensed and insured deck maintenance professionals who recognize the value in banding together and establishing consistent methods by which we all work from. The deck maintenance industry is still evolving and the information that is disseminated to homeowners by deck care companies is often confusing. Our goal is to establish "baselines" in the industry and provide information that homeowners can count on when speaking with a "certified network professional".
We will soon add a listing of companies in our "Network" on the left hand side of this site - seperated by State. If this is of interest to your company, please drop us a note and let's chat! Our goal is to add 10 Deck Maintenance Companies from around the country to our Network at no cost to the company. This will basically be a FREE form of advertising! Once we gather up a handful of organizations, we can discuss the challenges we all face with regard to the business side of exterior wood maintenance or pressure washing in general. Who knows where we go from there!
The simple fact is in order to have a listing on this site as a Network member, your organization will first be verified as having a business license and business insurance. While most professionals view these items as essential, the "fly by nighters" typically never make that investment in their business. In fact, we have learned that many of the companies we typically bid against don't have a license or insurance. We are hoping to make it difficult for these companies to exist and that's why we need your help. In the end, we (professionals) benefit as well as homeowners.
